6 steering rack problems Hi All, I'm just in the process of buying a Mazda 6 and the last 2 cars I've wanted have both had steering rack issues. It seems the torque sensor was faulty in both cases requiring a replacement steering rack. Both cars had just over 70k on the clock. The first was a 2012 2.2D TS2 and the second was a 2011 2.2D Sport.
Shorter and with less overhang than a Camry, the 6 is almost as swoopy as an Altima but without the distinctive head- and taillamp treatments. There's also more than a hint of Audi's A4 in the way
