Exactly, they could have said it was missing the "code" because the "game" is usually associated with the physical medium, especially after seeing all those posts with the disc slots without discs. Idk who these other guys are, but the title says it’s missing the actual game. Not that it came in the form of a DLC code.
Hello there, I am a bot. Scene groups (such as CODEX, CPY, SKIDROW, RELOADED, HOODLUM, etc) do not have public websites. If you find a site using the name of a scene group, they are impersonators. Beware of these sites as they tend to package their releases with malware. Check the Games section at the megathread for a list of proper sites to use.

Also, the game is phenomenal but since it’s a direct sequel it’s not so revolutionary. It is spectacular for what they can do with a ps4, especially compared to some much weaker games that failed to run on ps4 (cyberpunk). 2018 was also huge just because the engine is soooo good. The axe felt so amazing, unlike any weapon in a game before imo.

I still think Ragnarok is a good game. Maybe even great. But I couldn't give it more than a 7.5/10 due to the story. In an attempt to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible, they stripped away every bit of edge that god of war has always been known for. Shit, even avengers endgame was heavier than this.
I had a PS4 before I was a PC player but I’ve been a PC player since like 2016ish but I’m in the same boat, where I played GoW 2018 on PC and fell so in love with it that I bought a PS5 JUST to play this game lol. Having a blast so far. 35 votes, 15 comments. 480K subscribers in the GodofWarRagnarok community.
Mix that with duplicating assets to minimize hard drive seek times and huge textures to look good at 4K and yeah you've got a chonky PS4 game. Games also used to be limited in size by the disc. Now that games don't run directly off of the disc you put in the console developers can stretch install sizes a ton to make the game run faster.
GOW Ragnorak & Horizon Forbidden Weat were both confirmed for PS4 & PS5. So two great games to look forward to on last gen. But if you can snag a upgrade to the ps5 you will get an improved experience with them I’m sure. Playing GOW 2018 on my PS4 was not the best, it sounded like a jet engine when playing it, no such problem on the 5 thank god.
FF7 and Zelda link to the past were my 2 favorite games of all time for years and years until I got hit with a 5 hit combo of the Breath of the wild, PS4 spiderman, God of War, horizon and then Elden Ring. God damn have we had a bunch of good titles in the last few years. Hi I have got an issue with ragnarok. So i want to enable high FPS mode in god of war ragnarok. I have got all the proper hardware but the option is still disabled. I have got a Philips android tv 4k 55inch which already supports hdmi2.1, the game is running on ps5 which has 120hz enabled and vrr also enabled. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks I got the ps4 version which came with ratcher and clank and crash team racing and it works fine with the game. I don't think it's the pro one tho which suprises me. I mean, after Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco with last gen consoles, it's understandable that people are weary. The PS4 had a better reputation than the PS3 did (before the end of its lifecycle/surge in new games), fewer people had a Wii U/Smash 4, and there were a ton of revivals and new IPs made. Crash and Spyro coming back with PS deals would've been perfect timing before MS bought them. For Ragnarok, after testing all visual settings on PS5, I find the unlocked frame rate (hovering 70-85) to be the best setting that I am currently playing in that mode. Honestly, if you can't afford PS5, I can understand that playing these games on PS4 can still be a good experience.
The first one can be found on Modvitnir's Rig in Svartalfheim inside a Legendary Chest, while the second can be found in Alberich Hollow in the same realm, but only if Kratos has obtained the
6 Give Me God Of War. Regardless of the discussions surrounding how to start God of War: Ragnarök, many people did enjoy replaying the game through the hardest difficulty, in order to unlock an exclusive skin. The difficulty 'Give Me God Of War' is thus designed as the ultimate test, but not necessarily the normal way to experience the game. Can you go to the PS4 store and "upgrade" or does it still try to sell you the PS4 version? Kind of like what you have to do when to get the PS5 version of a game you already own. I'm trying to find out it I can give my PS5 voucher to a buddy that only has PS4s.

First let me say In terms of a technical showcase of the PS5, the game kills it. It’s quite a beautiful game and it looks pretty cool. But in terms of a game new players can hop into, this ain’t it chief. As a new player I have literally no idea what is happening. I watched the recap the game has and it’s a fever dream that explains nothing.

Not really no. Game won't be as beautiful on mid range pc as a high range but most games will work on both. And it is especially dumber to say that the serie S stop the serie X when we still produce games on the base Xbox one, nearly two generations before. 2. I'm normally a pc gamer, but I have a PS4 as a backup. I caved and bought the game instead of waiting for the pc version. I'm having a bad time with input lag and frame stuttering. Not sure if it's the game or just typical PS4 stuff my brain has suppressed in the years since I last touched my playstation. Graphics look great tho. .
